"Our activity will not stop at strike, but continue until breaking restrictions of Turkish state's prisons

In solidarity with the co-chair of the Democratic Society's Conference and the Parliamentarian of the Democratic People's Party Laila Guven, who is on hunger strike in Amed prison and denouncing the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, residents of Derik area of Qamishlo canton participate in the hunger strike organized by Kongra Star and the Democratic Union Party, through the erection of a tent in Çil Agha district.

The strikers said their activity would not stop at the hunger strike alone

Soror Shatti, an administrator of the Democratic Union Party, said that their presence in the strike tent comes in solidarity with the strike of Leila Guven, "who is resisting the oppression of the Turkish fascism in Amed prison."

He added "the ideology of the democratic nation and the peoples' brotherhood will triumph, our activity will not stop at the hunger strike, but will continue throughout the revolution until breaking the restrictions on Laila Guven and the leader Abdullah Ocalan," he said. "We tell the world to come to the north- east of Syria and see the solidarity and peoples' brotherhood."

He descried the leader Ocalan as "international leader". "We believe in the ideology of the leader Ocalan until the end and we will remain with him until the end."

On his part, Sulaiman Haji the administrator in Tel Koçer district council, said "We will send our voices to the whole world and call for the freedom of the leader Ocalan and all the detainees in the prisons of the fascist Turk, our struggle continues until releasing the detainees"
