Condemning demo on isolation, Turkish occupation launched in Dêrik

Under the slogan "Revolt, Resist to End Occupation and to Liberate Ocalan," the Young Women Union organized on Friday a condemning demonstration that would last for two successive days with the participation of 200 young women from all the cities and towns of al-Jazeera region.

Hundreds of members of the Young Women Union gathered in Khana Serê village in Dêrik area and headed towards Dêrik city, raising the flags of the Young Women Union and the pictures of the female martyrs and the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

During the march, the participants chanted the slogans that denounce the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan and the practices of the Turkish occupation in Afrin and all the Syrian occupied areas. The participants also expressed their support to the female hunger strikers in support for the struggler Leyla Guven that is on a hunger strike in the Turkish state's prisons.

It is scheduled that the march will reach Dêrik city at 03:30, as they will be received by the people and then they will head towards the Revolutionary Youths Center to start the program and show a short film about Ocalan's life.

The participants will stay in Dêrik to complete the march on Saturday and head towards Ain Diwar village that is adjacent to the Turkish border.
