Manbij Military Council reveals record of a martyr

The Media Center of Manbij Military Council issued a statement to the public opinion, in which the martyrdom of the fighter Khalil Abd, nicknamed "Abu Sayah" while fighting IS mercenaries at the clashes points in Hajin area of the countryside of ​​Deir ez-Zor was declared.

The text of the statement included,

As part of the campaign of the battle to defeat terrorism carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to liberate the city of Deir ez-Zor and its countryside from the abomination of IS terrorist organization in its last strongholds in Hajin, our forces in Manbij Military Council joined this campaign in defense of the people and in response to its call to confront the terrorism. With the presence of our forces in Deir ez-Zor, we have faced many attacks that have been thwarted and undermined for three days in a row with the strong will of our forces in their trenches despite the use of all the heavy weapons by IS including bombs, but our troops defeated them. 

During a series of tournaments made by our forces while they were repelling the attacks of the organization's mercenaries, one of our heroes in Manbij Military Council rose to the rank of martyrdom during the clashes, the martyr "Khalil Abd" or "Abu Sayah" who fought terrorism until the last moment.

Here, we offer our deepest condolences to the family of the heroic martyr (Khalil Abd) and to all the people. We pledge them to revenge for their pure blood, which would not be wasted, until defeating the last mercenary of terrorism. We pledge to follow their path and achieve their dreams to reach a free and dignified life.
