YPG reveal records of martyrs of Battle to Defeat Terrorism

The Media Center of the People's Protection Units today published a statement on its official website revealing the record of fighters who martyred in the Battle to Defeat Terrorism.

The statement pointed out that the battle against terrorism continues at full momentum to eliminate mercenaries, and in their last pockets of the Deir ez-Zor’s Hajin area, fighters of the People and Women's Protection Units who fought with courage and heroism from the beginning of the revolution of Rojava are taking part in the battle in the same spirit of struggle against terrorism.

The statement included in its text: During the battles against terrorism, our fighters struck painful blows to the mercenaries who attack the points liberated by our fighters from time to time in order to continue their presence in the north and east of Syria, but all their attacks did not reach their goals and did not achieve the result wished as our fighters confront them where strong clashes erupted between them  and the mercenaries.

 The statement pointed out that one of these clashes was that broke out on the 24 of November, after the attack of mercenaries-exploiting the weather conditions- on the points of concentration of our fighters, where YPG fighters thwarted the attack and responded to after heroic resistance, forcing the mercenaries to escape and retreat, 17 fighters of our comrades rose to the ranks of martyrdom.

The Media Center in the statement offered condolences to the families of martyrs and pledged to continue the struggle and resistance until victory and the elimination of terrorism.
