Afrin, al-Shahba people expressed condolences to struggler Avista Qehrman's families

Today, residents of Afrin canton went to Deir Jamal village of Sherawa district in Afrin canton to participate in a condolence ceremony for the families of the Popular Defense Forces Avista Qehraman, the nom de guerre Alifa Mulla Na'san, who was martyred on last November 27 by aerial bombardment by the Turkish occupation army on Zap area of Bakur Kurdistan.

The funeral began with holding a minute of silence, and then the administrator of the Martyrs Families Council Rajab Mustafa expressed condolences to the family of the martyr Avista Qehraman.

The co-chair of al-Shahba Canton Council Imad Daooud said:

"The people of the Middle East, especially the Kurdish people, have resisted for centuries to get rid of slavery. These people today are following the ideology and philosophy of the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, and fighting for freedom."

The administrator in Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) in ​​Sherawa district  Asmahan Hassan, said, "The Kurdish people is known for their martyrs because the martyrs are the ones who sacrifice for freedom and liberation of the homeland."

The speeches pledged also to be committed to memory of the martyrs and continuing the struggle until their goals were achieved.

The ceremony ended with slogans that salute the martyrs and the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, and resistance of Afrin.
