KNK condemned pressures of Başûr Gov against Freedom Movement

KNK issued a statement regarding the authorities of Başûr Kurdistan to close the headquarters of the Kurdistan Society' Freedom Movement in Sulaymaniyah province.

KNK said in its statement that the Kurdistan Society' Freedom Movement was founded by the joining of sons and daughters of Başûr Kurdistan. "It is a movement calling for freedom and struggling with devotion and sacrifice, which is one of the Kurdish organizations against the occupation, this organization seeks to solve the Kurdish cause peacefully and democratically and organizes all its activities on the basis of strengthening the unity of the Kurdish rank and the unity of all parties and Kurdistan's organizations, It also seeks to consolidate pluralism and the parliamentary and democratic system.

The statement also added," KNK assures all political organizations that such acts will not stop at this point, but will target other parties, "such attitudes are not sound at this stage, and it is necessary to allow these strugglers to work at their headquarters. So that we can strengthen the foundations of democracy, unity and nationalism we also call on officials in the Kurdistan Regional Government, to strengthen their confidence in their people in confronting the fascism and pressures of Turkey and Iran.

KNK called upon the officials of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Başûr to refrain from surrendering to the wishes of the occupiers and to allow those who struggle with dedication and sacrifice to continue their struggle, which will strengthen national unity and lead us to a constructive and democratic dialogue.
