Internal opposition's representatives: Solution in Syria to achieve by Syrians' understanding themselves

A delegation from the Syrian internal opposition visited the Foreign Relations Office in al-Jazeera region in Qamishlo city in North Syria, where the delegation included the head of the Opposed Democratic National Bloc in Syria Basil al-Kuweifi, the member of the Syrian Democratic Counci Wissam Othman, the head of the National Movement Basil Taqi al-Din, the Syrian Women Council's coordinator in the Syrian Coast Inam Nayouf and the member of the Syrian Women's Council Asma Masharqa who were invited to participate in the Syrian-Syrian forum.

The delegation was received by the co-chair of the Office of the Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration for the North and East of Syria, Abdul Karim Omar.

On the margin of the visit, Hawar news agency (ANHA) has met with the head of the Opposed National Democratic Bloc in Syria and the Syrian Women Council's coordinator in the Syrian coast on the reasons and objectives of their visiting to the Foreign Relations Office, their views on the solution of the Syrian crisis, their views and opinions that would be suggested in the meeting and the importance to held such meeting in Ain Issa district, and their opinion in meetings held outside the Syrian territory.

Basil al-Kuweifi, the head of the Opposed National Democratic Bloc in Syria explained that they are a group of national and political parties and forces working with all segments of the Syrian people and with all national and political parties and forces for the solution and Syrian-Syrian rapprochement, and we hope to reach that."

He said that they came to participate in the Syrian-Syrian dialogue forum of Ain Issa because they believe that there is no solution in Syria except with the participation of the Syrians of all sects and components.

On the objectives of their visiting to the Foreign Relations Office, he noted, "We have visited the Foreign Relations Office in order to put forward the views we see fit with the Syrian-Syrian solution, and we agreed through this meeting that there is no political solution except for its being Syrian - Syrian that would guarantee through a constitution and holding a new meeting for all the Syrian components in any geography, basically maintain the Syrian constants and the unity of Syrian territory and not allow external interventions, particularly Turkey, in order to preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria."

He pointed out that the meeting in Ain Issa on the Syrian soil with our brothers and sisters in the Autonomous Administration have shown that the Syrians agree to build a new Syria that includes all components of the Syrian people, and we hope that this gathering is a nucleus to preserve the future Syria. We respect each other and respect the opinion and the other opinion to have a new Syrian constitution guaranteeing the rights of.

Al-Kuwaifi stressed that holding the forum on the Syrian soil is considered important for Syria's new direction for all Syrians.

As for the Syrian issue and the holding of meetings outside Syria, al-Kuweifi said, "The Syrian file has become entangled and complex and there are regional and international interventions. We want to transfer this file to the Syrians themselves inside the Syrian side so we hope such meetings to be held on the Syrian soil as the meeting held abroad are beyond the control of the Syrians and the guarantors have the final word in taking the decisions."

As for the role of the Syrian Women's Council and the themes that would be suggested in the dialogue, Enam Nayouf, the coordinator of the Syrian Women's Council in the Syrian coast explained that they would discuss several issues related to the Syrian women, the rights and duties of women and how the women would be in the constitution and the Syrian law.  We hope to find important solutions regarding the status of women in the new Syrian constitution."
