"Decision of KRG does not serve the Kurdish people"

Asayiş forces in Sulaymaniyah city in Başûr Kurdistan cordoned off the headquarters of Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement in the morning. They met with the administrators of the movement, while the administrators reported that the Asayiş forces told them that the movement has been operating for four years informally so they have to close their headquarters."

In this context, ANHA agency has communicated with the two co-chairs of the movement, Shilan Shaker and Mohammed Abdullah.

We have not received any reply Since 4 years

At the beginning of her speech, Shilan Shaker denounced the behavior of the Kurdistan Regional Government towards their movement and said "Four years ago we submitted our request to license our movement, but despite the follow-up, we have not received any response yet."

We will continue to resist

Shilan Shaker pointed out that they reject this behavior and will resist it and said "At first they asked us to vacate the headquarters, but we did not accept their request, and we are trying in the diplomatic and political ways not to close the headquarters of our movement and resist this decision."

Shilan Shaker said that this decision does not serve the Kurdish people "the Kurdish people are in the process of national unity to achieve them, so the democratic forces and freedom-seeker must reject this decision also."

The decision is a conspiracy against the Kurdish parties

Shilan said they would not close their party offices and added, unfortunately, the Kurdistan Regional Government attacks are not just in place, as they alerted party offices in Kelar, Kifrî, Ranya and many other areas to close offices, this decision is a conspiracy against Kurdish parties."

The decision is illegal

"the co-chair of the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement Mohammed Abdullah said the decision that was issued does not serve the Kurdish people. These decisions must not be issued because they serve the occupation of Kurdistan and dissolute the unity of the Kurdish people. We believe that with regard to the Turkish occupation, no decision was issued, but the decisions are issued against the offices of the Kurdish parties."

The decision serves the interests of the occupation

Abdullah said that "because our party rejected the Turkish occupation and organized events and showed a firm stance, this decision was issued against us, this decision serves the interests of the occupation."

Rise up against this decision

The co-chairs of the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement of Kurdistan, Shilan Shaker and Mohammed Abdullah, appealed at the end of their talk to all the Kurdish parties in Başûr Kurdistan to raise up against this decision and to express a clear position.
