YPJ: Let's make all days of year days for combating violence against women

The General Command of the Women's Protection Units issued a statement in conjunction with World Day for Combating Violence against Women.

YPJ, at first the 58th anniversary of the World Day for Combating Violence against Women saluted all women who have fought throughout history and sacrificed for the freedom of women and renewed the covenant for all women in the world to walk on the path of strugglers and defend all values of women.

The statement added, "Today, all women of the world are considered November 25 as a day of struggle against injustice, domination of men, struggle for freedom, not only today, but women have transformed all days, moments and all spheres of life into fields of struggle.

YPJ referred to attacks on women in northern Syria. As well as the heroic resistance shown by women in the face of these attacks and added "We are fighting this struggle with confidence and strong faith, for us, this is a historic duty."

The General Command of the Women's Protection Units confirmed their commitment to struggle for the freedom of women and to assume all the responsibilities they bear by increasing the struggle and resistance.

YPJ called on "all women to make all days of the year days for combating violence against women, days of struggle and honorable resistance."
