'By virtue of Ocalan's philosophy, we realized our liberty'

The events held by Kongra Star to collect signatures for the freedom of Ocalan continue on its 7th day with the presence of Arab women. Women confirmed that they have been introduced to their freedom by virtue of the philosophy of Ocalan.

On February 15, 1999, the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan was arrested by an international conspiracy. He was isolated. The Turkish state has been preventing the lawyers and the family of Ocalan from meeting him since the past two years.

In this regard, the Kurdish, Arab, Turkmen, Syriac and Armenian components joined the tent of collecting signatures for the sake of Ocalan which was set up on 17 November in Kobani as part of a series of events organized by Kongra Star on 25 November to mark the World Day of Combating Violence against Women.

The activities of the tent in Kobani on its seventh day continue with the visit of the Arab women to the tent.

The administrator of Kongra Star in Serin area Nahla Mohammed told ANHA agency, "For the sake of signature campaign for the leader Ocalan, we have joined the tent, and we are delighted with this event because the leader introduced us to our freedom and our rights."

Alia Mustafa, the member of Kongra Star of Serin area pointed out, "We have joined the November 25 event and we condemn the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan."

At the end of her talk, Alia wished all women to know their freedom, not to accept violence practiced against themselves and sacrifice for the leader Ocalan because his philosophy gave freedom to women.
