Afrin people condemned violence practiced against women

This came during a demo organized by the people of Afrin on the occasion of  World Day for Combating the Violence Against Women which marks on November 25, where the demonstration took place in Tel Qerah village of al-Shahba canton.

The people raised the flag of Free Women Union of al-Shahba canton, the flags of Kongra Star, the flags of the brutal attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Afrin people, the flags of the 3 sisters Mirabal and the flags of Afrin's martyrs.

The demonstration started by chanting the slogans which saluted the resistance of Afrin and the resistance of the women against the violence.

The people toured the main roads of the village, then they stopped in the school square and held a minute of silence, then the member of Kongra Star Amina Denkli delivered a speech and she confirmed that the women of Afrin will refuse all the oppression and the violation practiced against them by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and they would step up the struggle at all levels.  

The demonstrators also spoke to ANHA agency about the World Day for Combating the Violence Against the Women, and they condemned the practices  by the Turkish occupation against the women of Afrin and all occupied areas.

The march concluded by chanting the slogans which saluted the women resistance and the Resistance of the Age in Afrin.
