Forum of religions, sects scholars held in al-Jazeera region

The work of the scholars of religions, sects and beliefs forum launched on Saturday afternoon in al-Jazeera canton in al-Tekia al-Kadriah Mosque in Amoda district of Qamishlo canton.

Many religious scholars, sects and beliefs of the Syriac, Islamic and Yazidi religions came from the North and East Syria to participate in the forum. Arab sheiks, representatives of the Relations' Office in the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Advisor of the General Command for Civil Affairs of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Rezan Gilo also attended the forum.

The forum began with holding a minute of silence and reading al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs. That was followed by a hymn of Islamic religious songs by Muslim scholars at al-Tekia al-Kadriah Mosque.

The conference continued with a speech delivered by the General Consultant for Civil Affairs of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Rezan Gilo.

The forum held at the invitation of the religious scholars, with the aim of bringing together the components and sects of each other, forming a cohesion in the face of the Turkish occupation army, calling for Syrian-Syrian dialogue and rejecting of the Turkish interference in the Syrian affairs.
