Kobanî people: "The martyrs are the ones who protect our values"

The fighter in the People's Protection Units(YPG), Mahmud Rumi, who was martyred when he was doing his duty, in his final resting place by a solemn ceremony.

After the arrival of the mourners to the Martyr Dejla Shrine, the ceremony began with holding a minute of silence, after that the commander Ibrahim Hamza spoke on behalf of the People and Women  Protection Units and expressed condolences to the people of Kobanî in general and the families of the martyr in particular.

Ibrahim touched upon the Turkish occupation attacks on Kobanî and Girê Spî in the name of the People's and Women's Protection Units, and said " we pledge to continue the resistance and protect the people and the gains of Rojava and the north and east of Syria, the Turkish state, through its attacks, indicates that it about to death, so, it targeted children at the age of six in Girê Spî. Our people will not remain silent about what is going on."

He added, "The martyrs are the ones who protect our values, and who sacrificed  their lives to make the people live safely."

Almaz Rumi the administrator in Kongra Star referred to the political and military stage in the region, as referred to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state, and mentioned the occupation of Turkey to Afrin saying, "We are all responsible for this land, and everyone must deter attacks."

Afterwards, Sarhan Rumi spoke on behalf of the martyr family and appealed to the Kurdish people and political bloc to unite their ranks and promised to follow the path of the martyrs.

Then the martyr's document was read and handed over to his family.

In the end, the body of martyr was buried  in the midst chanting slogans that glorified the martyrs and promised to walk on their path.
