Agency : attacks intensify on regime forces in disarmed area

Fares Iranian News Agency reported that the groups which are deployed in the disarmed area in Sochi Agreement, intensified their attacks on the Regime Forces northwest of Hama, which today resulted in tensions in the areas.

The Iranian Fares News Agency reported that the Syrian regime forces intensified the fire of its artilleries and rockets deployed in Bezam al-Saghir town north of Hama on a group of the mercenaries near Moorek city resulted in flagrant losses in the ranks of the mercenaries.

According to the aforementioned agency, the attack of the regime forces came after the snipers of the mercenaries targeted elements of the regime forces.

The agency affirmed that another group of the regime forces clashed with a group of the mercenaries in al-Serminiya area northwest of Hama.

The agency quoted a military source in the regime forces as "terrorists" intensifying on their attacks in the demilitarized zone and Ankara's failure to force its mercenaries to leave the region. It added that the regime's forces "have no choice but to launch a major attack on mercenaries in the north, and parts of northwest of the country."

The agency quoted Syrian military expert Colonel Mari Hamdan as saying, “the terrorist Jabhit Tahrir al-Sham control nearly 70% of the towns and villages in the province of Idlib and launch provocative movements against the regime forces."

He added that the regime's forces have responded all the attacks by mercenaries, pointing out that it is now necessary for the regime forces to emerge from the defensive mood to regain control of Idlib, stressing that the battle of the regime forces against Jabhit Tahrir al-Sham is inevitable.

The agency said that a group of Ahrar al-Sham and Jabhit Ahrar al-Sham of Turkey, which refuses to agree and prepare for a military operation against the forces of the regime and calls for an alliance with Hayet Tahrir al-Sham.

To date, the terms of the Russian-Turkish agreement on the demilitarized zone have not been implemented. Heavy weapons were supposed to be withdrawn from this area, at a depth of 15-20 km, until October 10, and the withdrawal of mercenaries from them until the 15th of the same month.

Turkey, which is the guarantor of the mercenary and terrorist groups in Idlib, has not been able to implement the terms of the agreement, which has been breached since the first day of its declaration.
