In a solemn ceremony, hundreds of residents of the Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood, members of the Martyrs Families Council and civil institutions, and fighters of the People and Women Protection Units, the body of the martyr in the People Protection Units Mohammed Khatib whose nom de guerre is Fedakar Halab.

The funeral procession was launched in front of the Kurdish Red Crescent clinic west of the neighborhood, amid chanting slogans that salute martyrs and trills of the mothers, and the streets of the main neighborhood, heading towards the village of Beno, north of the neighborhood.

After the arrival of the body of the martyr to the scene of the ceremony, where pictures of the martyr Fedokar and the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the flags of People and Women Protection Units were hung, the fighters carried the body of the martyr to the podium. The ceremony began with a military parade by fighters of the People and Women Protection Units, in conjunction with a minute of silence.

After that, the administration of the Martyrs Families Council, Kurdistan Aliko, delivered a speech at the beginning of which offered condolences to the martyr’s family and pointed out that the martyrs are stars in the sky and guide to the path of freedom. "Every martyr sacrificed his soul to the homeland.

In his turn, the leader of the People's Protection Units Zagros Afrin gave a speech paying condolences to the martyr family. He said that the martyr Fedakar and all the martyrs proved that they are lovers of freedom and are prepared at all times to sacrifice in order to achieve the democratic nation and the approach of freedom to live the people with dignity in defending his cause."

Zagros Afrin promised to follow the path of the martyrs and defend the neighborhood and all areas.

"The democratic nation project aims at mixing all the components together and unifying them, and the mixing of the blood of the people of the neighborhood is a philosophy and sacrifice to reach a free life, the values ​​of the martyrs are great."

In his speech, Hasso pointed out that the peoples and the components united in the face of terrorism, tyranny and dictatorship. "We have no way but the martyrs' approach to salvation."

Then the martyr's document was read by a member of the Martyrs Families Council, Malak Ibrahim, and handed over to his family.

At last, the sheikhs of the Community of Religions in Sheikh Maksoud prayed, then the body of the martyr was carried amid chants saluting the sacrifices of the martyrs and was buried in the shrine of martyrs in the village of Beno.
