Distributing fuel oil to Kobanî residents continues

The Fuel Committee has started with the coming of winter to distribute the fuel oil to the residents of Kobanî and its affiliated villages, while the Committee has not finished the distribution process yet.

As winter came and the families have needed the fuel oil for heating, the Fuel Committee in Kobanî canton distributed the fuel oil to the residents through vouchers that had been prepared before and distributed to the families in the city of Kobanî and its villages.

So far, the Committee has distributed about 12 million liters of fuel oil at 55 SP per liter, while it allocated an amount of 600 liters for each family distributed in two installments; 400 liters in the first batch and 200 liters in the second.

The co-chair of the Fuel Committee in the Autonomous Administration of Kobanî canton Nabil Kajil said, "The distribution of the fuel was delayed for a period of time due to the lack of quantity received at the beginning, but we try as much as possible to meet the needs of the residents."
