The text of the statement:

"Violence against women is one of the most controversial issues and social problems of our time, which still afflict some societies around the world, especially third world countries. This problem is caused by a number of factors and causes that lead to their emergence and encourage their aggravation and are aimed primarily at women in the world. This phenomenon constitutes a grave and deadly danger in society around the world where violence against women confirms the collapse of the moral aspect and reflects the moral aspect that threatens the social structure of the family and society, especially in light of the negative impact of violence, whether psychologically or emotionally and therefore a threat to societies in general.

As this phenomenon is global, it must be combated globally by adhering to international conventions and supporting the global campaign to stop this phenomenon and expose its perpetrators and punish those who practice violence against women and support women's movements against this phenomenon in raising the awareness of society and women's awareness of their full rights and combating trafficking in women's bodies, by providing means of living, we on behalf of Kongra Star appeal to women all over the world to stand against any form of violence and torture against women, whatever the causes are.
