Mass demo denouncing isolation, occupation's attacks on North Syria

Under the slogan "Women, Revolt for Afrin," hundreds of women from Qamishlo canton have protested against the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on North Syria.

The demonstration began in front of Hori Center for Culture and Art, where the demonstrators held pictures of Öcalan and banners with "With the will of free women, we will destroy the Turkish occupation. Women, revolt for Afrin's liberation. With the will of the organized women, we will destroy them. We swear that we will break the Imrali regime and liberate the leader Ocalan" written on, amid the chanting the slogans that call for the freedom of the leader Ocalan and denounce the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army.

Ahin Muhammad, the member of Golden Crescent Movement said, "The leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, lives in solitary confinement in Imrali, resists greatly, as all the peoples of the Middle East have taken his ideology as their principle, as evidence of that is Rojava Revolution.

The goal of tyrannical states is to teach us about the isolation of Imrali, but as women and all people, we will not accept this policy. Rojava Revolution broke out on the basis of Ocalan's ideology and unlimited struggle, and the revolution of women became the model of free life for whoever seek for freedom and democracy.

Recently, the AKP attacks on North Syria have increased. The Turkish occupation state wants to thwart the democratic nation project in Rojava, which was built on the basis of the Kurdish, Syriac, Turkmen and Arab peoples' brotherhood, and it aims to obliterate the values ​​built in North Syria, and to continue its fascist power. There is no doubt that these attacks came after the four-party meeting held to support the policies of the Justice and Development Party, but they will not be able to protect themselves from destruction.

Then, the Golden Crescent band presented several revolutionary songs. The demonstration ended with that slogans that salute the resistance of the leader of the Kurdish people and denounce the Turkish attacks on North Syria.
