Rojava youths described US decision as new plot on Kurdish people

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with a number of young people of Rojava on the margins of the second conference held for Rojava youths in Rmelan.

The young man Rojda Muslim from Kobani city denounced at the beginning of his speech the decision released against 3 leaders of PKK; Murat Karaylan, Cemil Bayik and Duran Kalkan by America. He said, "Today, America is acting according to its interests and the interests that serve the Turkish occupation state which is considered the first sponsor to IS mercenaries

Muslim said that issuing such a decision against the PKK leaders means targeting the Kurdish people directly and the peoples of the Middle East in general. He said, "Today, America is issuing such resolutions targeting all the oppressed peoples, not only the Kurdish people. We do not accept such decisions. The PKK is a party that stands with the oppressed peoples so such decisions cannot be accepted."

The young woman Xemgîn Şahîn described the US decision towards the leaders of PKK to be wrong and said,

"We all have to stand against the wrong decisions made against our leaders who represent our free will. It is clear that America which calls for democracy represents non-democracy so it is doing all the practices to undermine the will of the Kurdish people, and we as young people condemn the decision and will not accept it."

She appealed to the young Kurdish people to stand against these decisions and said, "Not only the youths revolt, but all Human Rights institutions must stand against the decision if they really aim at achieving justice and peace in the area."

While the young man Ali Nabo denounced the US decision and said, "We condemn the American decision against our leaders and appeal to all young people to go out to the squares in order to reject this decision because by the youths' resistance and solidarity, all conspiracies against our people, their revolution and our strugglers will be broken."

Ali stressed at the end of his speech that no one can harm their leaders and strugglers and said, "Your decision will not prevent us from struggling to gain our freedom, but will increase our determination to resist and follow the path of our martyrs and our leaders."
