The Young Women's Union organized a protest in Manbij against the Turkish attacks on the Syrian territory. Where the Turkish occupation army has recently escalated its attacks on North Syria and made a statement during the protest.

The protestors gathered in the volleyball hall near the al-Baladi Stadium on Wednesday, carrying banners with "Youths of Manbij refuse to repeat the history of the Ottoman Empire," "The will of the young woman destroys the occupation," written on. Then, the administrator in the Sport Union, Nisrin Barkil read the statement.

The text of the statement included,

"In the name of the young woman in Manbij and its countryside, today, we all stand together to say one word. We condemn in the strongest terms the Turkish-Erdoganian attacks on Syria in general and North Syria in particular, and condemn the international silence against these attacks.

But let all the world to know that the Syrian people will not surrender or stand idly by, and we will be a protective shield for every inch of our land. Erdogan, his supporters and his mercenaries of the Euphrates Shield would not be able to desecrate our land, which was watered by the blood of free martyrs so we call for everyone jealous on their land to revolt and said one slogan "No to the Turkish occupation, No to the Ottoman occupation."

"Long live to you and to our revolution and the sure victory for the democratic nation-building project, speedy recovery for our wounded and mercy to our righteous martyrs."

Then, the administrator of the Women's Council Nadia Milhem delivered a speech in which she confirmed their condemnation of the Turkish attacks targeting the civilians. She pointed out that the Turkish attacks on the Syrian territories aim at restoring the glories of the Ottoman Empire.

Nadia said, "We are steadfast in the face of the Turkish colonial ambitions and we will fight any aggression on our soil. The Turkish dream will not be achieved by occupying the Syrian territory. We will fight for the liberation of Afrin, Jarabulus and al-Bab.

The protest ended with chanting the slogans that salute the steadfastness of the people in the face of Turkish attacks.
