Services Committee in Deir ez-Zor works at high pace before winter

The Services Committee of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council seeks to implement a series of service projects in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor before winter to alleviate the suffering of the people.

Therefore, the Committee started to maintain a number of heavy machineries as soon as possible due to the urgent need of them in large projects to prepare and expand the roads and rehabilitate the infrastructure of the towns and villages.

The Committee also completed the repair and restoration of the complete sewerage system in the towns of al-Basira and Hajin in the eastern countryside and the town of Mahmida and al-Sour in the western countryside along the townships, and the reconstruction and removal of cement cisterns, knowing that the network was 70% destroyed by tunnels, explosions and mines.

The Committee completed the maintenance of Hamar al-Ali roads connecting the main road with the houses of the people which is considered a vital route in the area. Work was also carried out on the way of the village of Hamar al-Kasra. The work included digging the excavation and extending the material of the remains to pave the way before mud formation. The committee's plan of action includes working on Abu Khasab line and the villages of Jarwan.

Hamad al-Fahd, the administrator in the Services Committee and Municipalities of the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council told ANHA agency that the workshops of the Committee are working at a high pace to repair and expand the roads to facilitate the living conditions of the people.
