500 new tents distribute in Abu Khashab camp

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees in coordination with Deir-ez Zor Civil Council, about 500 tents have been distributed to displaced persons in Abu Khashab camp in the western of countrydide of Deir-ez-Zor ,after suffering of the displaced, especially as winter season is approching and torrential rain which witnessed by the area .

After torrential rain last week and the passing of storm to the area, the tents were uprooted in Abu Khashab camp where Deir-ez-Zor Civil Council and its committees hastened to contact refugee organizations to support the camp.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (in coordination with Deir-ez-Zor Civil Council, distributed tents to the displaced, replacing the old, worn-out ones.

The torrential rainfall in the area also damaged the food of the displaced, making them without food or water, and on the ground of a dirt camp that can not be walked. This made matters worse, not to mention the cases of the sick and the disabled in the camp.

After appeals of Deir-ez-Zor Civil Council to many distress call and UN has responded to these appeals , sending trucks loaded with 500 new tents, a complete kitchen kit for each tent, electric lamps, tents and tents, as well as 503 food rations.
