SDF finished sniper, mines dismantling courses

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Martyrs Sarya Ronahi and Fayyad al-Shibli Academies finished the fourth course for snipers and demining fighters during ceremonies.

The Martyr Sarya Ronahi Academy has completed a course for snipers named The Martyr Hewzan Dirbasiya and the Martyr Fayyad al-Shibli Academy finished a demining course called the Martyr Mazloum Qamishlo for dozens of fighters from different areas of north Syria.

The trainees received political, cultural, and military training courses on weapons, as well as lessons on how mines and explosive devices are dismantled.

The graduation ceremonies organized on Wednesday were attended by dozens of SDF commanders and YPG, YPJ fighters.

At the beginning of the ceremonies, the commander of SDF Ahmed Sultan (Abu al-Aaraj) delivered a speech congratulating the joiners, asking them to adhere to what they learned during the course and to be disciplined and have revolutionary ethics. He stressed the importance of dismantling the mines left by IS to kill the civilians.

The fighters then swore the oath, and the ceremony ended with distributing documents that prove their subjection to the course.
