Earthquake in East Kurdistan

Qasra Shirin area in Kermanshah governorate in East Kurdistan witnessed an earthquake of 4.9 Richter magnitude.

On Wednesday at 6:47, an earthquake hit Qasra Shirin area in East Kurdistan, causing no significant casualties.

Kermanshah has witnessed several earthquakes since July, and on October 1, an earthquake of 4.5 magnitude stroke Taza Abbadi area.

On August 26, at a distance of 6 km away from the earthquake center which recorded 6.1 magnitude, two people lost their life and another 230 were wounded.

The most severe of these earthquakes whose effects have still remained and which occurred on November 12, 2017 in Kermanshah recorded 7.3 on the Richter scale and left 620 victims and about 8,500 injured.
