HPG killed 6 Turkish soldiers in Colemêrg

The media center of HPG made clear that two qualitative operations were carried out on October 16 in Gever area as they targeted positions of the Turkish occupation army and said,

“Within the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out on October 16 at 17:15 an operation against the Turkish occupation army’s soldiers who are stationed on Ali Sher hill in Colemêrg, and our fighters dealt the enemy’s fortifications harsh blows that resulted in destroying them and killing 6 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army.” 

HPG: Other two elements of the Villages’ Protectors were held accountable

On the other hand, HPG’s media center issued a statement and made clear that other two elements of the Villages’ Protectors who disclosed HPG’s sites to the Turkish army in 2017 were held accountable. 

That statement included,

“In July 4, our forces held two elements of the Villages’ Protectors the accountable who are Remzi Koler and Mahmoud Koler.”

In our statement issued in November 4, 2017, we announced that clashes had broken out between our forces and the Turkish occupation army on October 27, 2017 in Lêxosor area in Lecê in Amed. During the clashes, our comrade Ferhat Kortay (Adnan Oral) martyred after he made a heroic resistance. After our comrade martyred, our forces started to investigate as it was clear that two elements of the Villages’ Protectors, Remzi Koler and Mahmoud Kolder had disclosed the positions of our fighters to the Turkish occupation army and they were working with the enemy for eradicating one of our units. 

After the two elements have been arrested and investigated by our forces, they admitted their guilt and that they had disclosed the Guerilla’s position to the Turkish army as they entered the Guerilla’s areas pretending to be farmers and disclosed their positions to the Turkish army.

We call for our people to stand against the filthy tricks played by the Turkish state.”
