'People's solidarity with Ocalan prevented plot to achieve its goals'

The Joint Presidency of the Executive Council of al-Jazeera region issued a statement to the public opinion, condemning the international conspiracy that affected the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan which entered its twentieth year in light of the international silence about the violations practiced against Ocalan by the Turkish occupation authorities.

The text of the statement included,

"On 9 October, the international conspiracy against the leader of the Kurdish people and through it the Kurdish Liberation Movement of our people who are thirsty for a free and dignified life has entered a new year. Our leader lives under conditions in which the most basic humanitarian standards of humanity are absent; the strict abstraction and the prevention of visits and interviews of his lawyer and his family to him although all the signs indicate that the leader suffers in the health aspect targeting his life and security.

If the people stand in solidarity with their leader and the wisdom of the leader dealing with the international conspiracy prevented the conspiracy to achieve its final goals, the conspiracy is still continuing in front of the eyes of all the free world and with the most brutal and oppressive methods. The occupation of Afrin was a new episode in this series which is trying to continue to eliminate the vital role played by Ocalan through providing the democratic solutions that eliminate dictatorships, including Turkey.

We take this opportunity to say and affirm that administration and people, we will continue to adhere to freedom and defend it and its noble human symbol the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and therefore, we call on all the world that witnessed and is still witnessing the role of the Kurds in the fight against terrorism to move responsibly and resolutely against the practices which target our leader.

Our resistant people are well aware that these obscurantists, especially Turkey are well aware of the role of the leader in proposing the solutions and thwarting the conspiracies that target our people wherever they are, especially in Rojava that tapped from the values ​​and ethics of the leader enough to continue the resistance and commitment to freedom and liberation of the leader from his detention in all circumstances, especially this vital turning point that our people are going through in all parts, especially in Rojava.

The freedom of Ocalan is a moral and humanitarian task that lies with every free person in this world, and we are confident that the commitment of our people to the issue of their leadership will be the fundamental engine of all the free people in the world and this will be the end of the conspiracy in another way.

Together to repel the international conspiracy and thwart it.
