Sit-in of Kongra Star concluded

Representatives from the political parties and civic institutions in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, in addition to the Asayiş and the Yazidi House, participated in the activities of the third day of the sit-in organized by Kongra Star in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood as part of the "Revolt" campaign.

The third day included speeches on behalf of the participating delegations. The speeches included a reference to the importance of the democratic nation project proposed by the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, in achieving the unity of peoples and coexistence.

The speeches stressed the need to continue the struggle until the liberation of Afrin and "to continue the struggle and resistance and the liberation of Afrin and access to the freedom of the leader."

The sit-in activities ended with a final statement in Kurdish and Arabic by the two directors of Kongra Star Nehla Mustafa and Fatima Hassen.

The statement noted, "We, as Kongra Star in Aleppo, held our sit-in under the slogan" Women Revolt for the Freedom of the Leader ," in the presence of all women from all components and representatives of institutions and parties

The statement added, "This month marks the beginning of the international conspiracy against leader Ocalan and his departure from Syria under international and regional pressure,"

Kongra Star called on all women of all parts of the world to revolt and support this struggle and carry out their humanitarian duties towards the leader and to lift his isolation ."

Furthermore, the sit-in activities ended with the slogans calling for the freedom of Ocalan and the liberation of Afrin.
