"Afrin Will Remain Green"

The Culture and Art Body, in coordination with the Women Intellectuals Association in al-Jazeera region, hang the largest painting of the olive tree that reads "Afrin will remain green" at the Martyr Robar Square in Qamishlo city ,during ceremony.

The ceremony was held today, in the presence of dozens of parents and members of the women's and civil institutions in Qamishlo, wearing shirts reads "Afrin Will Remain Green" in Arabic and Kurdish.

After the ceremony began, the administrator of the Intellectual Women Association, Ahin Mohammed, spoke during the ceremony and said "We wanted to reach our voice to the Turkish occupation, its mercenaries and our enemies, no matter how they cut down the olive trees in Afrin, new trees will sprout and grow and they cannot break our will by cutting these trees. "

At the end of her speech, Ahin thanked the three painters who worked day and night to finish the painting, hoping that Afrin will be released soon of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

According to officials, the move comes in support of Resistance to the Age, which continues in its second stage against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, who raided Afrin .

The length of the painting, which was prepared by the artists of the Culture and Art Body, "Media Khalil, Aida Hassan, Rawan Khalil", in 5 days, 10 meters and its width is 6 meters.
