Statement of HPG operation of Ilah

The media center of People Defense Forces (HPG) issued a written statement to the public on the operation carried out by the Guerilla forces in Ilah on 4 October, as well as the air raids carried out by the Turkish occupation aircraft on the Medea defensive areas.

Ilah Operation

The statement said: "In the framework of the revolutionary campaign in the name of martyr Dalal Amed and the martyrs of Basta, the Guerilla forces targeted at 06:00 on October 4 an operation against a Cobra-armored vehicle that was moving on the road of the villages of Jilik and Botika of Mawa area affiliated of Ilah and Karboran districts of Mardin".

The statement confirmed that the armored vehicle was completely destroyed, and killed eight soldiers of the occupation army (assistant and 7 corporals), and seriously injured a soldier.

Air raids

The statement pointed out that the warplanes of the Turkish occupation army, launched raids on the defensive areas of Medya on 5 October.

In the details of the raids carried out by the occupation aircraft, the statement said, "At 11.00 hours, the aircraft bombed the areas of Saga in Zap. Between 15:00 -16: 00, the area of ​​Sida, the land of Palinda and the village of Falha in Zap."

The occupation forces also shelled between 16.45 and 17.00, the Dula Mara area and Kartal in Avashin.
