Clashes among mercenaries because of sharing olives

The differences among the mercenary gangs and the remnants of IS al-Qaeda mercenaries continue and are dabbled daily because of disagreements over the sharing of the properties that belong to Afrin residents after looting them.

According to sources from Afrin, clashes have been ongoing between the mercenaries of Ahrar al-Sharqiya and Adel Gathering in Qejumo village in Janders district since Thursday afternoon. They also pointed out that there is still tension between the two sides after disputes erupted between them on sharing the olive season.

On the other hand, the sources confirmed that the people of Janders area cannot go to their olive groves, fearing that the mercenaries will attack them and confiscate their crops.

The mercenaries, at the request of the Wally of Hatay state, issued a circular about handing over all the olive groves that the mercenaries had taken over to the so-called Local Councils established by the occupation.

Furthermore, the so-called Local Council of the Turkish occupation state in Janders area issued a circular that imposes on the farmers who have olives to pay taxes if they harvest their crops.

In this context, the deputy of the Agriculture Body’s presidency in Afrin canton Salah Ibo noted that Turkey will steal more than $ 100 million of olive season that belong to the people of the occupied Afrin.
