Operation against Turkish occupation in Başûr

HPG’s media center issued a statement on the operation carried out by their forces against the Turkish occupation army stationed in Lêlîkan hill of Sêdkan district in Başûr (South Kurdistan).

The text of the statement included,

“On October 2 at 07:10 and within the revolutionary campaign of the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî, our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation army in Lêlîkan hill of Sêdkan in Başûr Kurdistan. The number of the killed and wounded of the occupation army was not confirmed. After the operation, the occupation army shelled the area with mortars and Obis.

On October 1, the drones of the Turkish occupation army hovered over Kari area within the lawful defense zones. Our forces targeted these drones and inflicted damage to them so that the drones were forced to leave the area.

Furthermore, the Turkish occupation army’s aircrafts continue to launch attacks against the legitimate defense zones. In this context, the Turkish occupation aircrafts launched on September 29, 30 and October 1 attacks on ​​Deshta Kafiya area in ​​Kari area in addition to launching attacks on the Heft Tebeq area in Kari area. The aircrafts also launched attacks on Avaşîn on October 1 at 11:00.
