Battle to defeat terrorism: 29 mercenaries killed, 3 booby-trapped vehicles destroyed

The media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stated that 29 mercenaries were killed during the last 24 hours within the battle to defeat terrorism. The center also mentioned within the daily outcome of the battles’ results that their forces managed to destroy 3 booby-trapped vehicles.

The media center of SDF issued a statement to the public opinion, revealing the outcome of the last 24 hours within the battle to defeat terrorism.

The statement included,

1- Baguz axis: Our fighters repelled the attacks launched by the mercenaries in which they used the booby-trapped vehicles, Dushka, mortars in addition to flaming fire in al-Sefaqena village. Strong clashes erupted between our fighters and the terrorists and that resulted in killing a big number of them with the participation of the International Alliance’ warplanes.

Our forces progressed 1 km after being engaged into fierce clashes with the terrorists, and they managed to set up 9 points. After that, they began to comb the area.

2- Hejin axis: Our fighters blasted a booby-trapped vehicle of the terrorists before reaching its goal, while our forces advanced 700 meters after fierce clashes with the mercenaries as 8 points were installed. Soon, our fighters started to comb the area from the terrorists’ remnants, and they seized a number of weapons and military equipment.

3- The outcome of the clashes:

The number of the terrorists’ killed: 29 terrorists.

The strikes of the Alliance’s warplanes: 12 strikes.

The number of the points installed: 17 points.

The terrorists’ losses: 3 booby-trapped vehicles, motorbikes, a communication center and an ammunition’s site were destroyed and a walky-talky device of Hitra kind was seized.
