Syriac woman resolves her issues in her home

To get her all their rights in society, the Syriac women have applied the laws of democratic autonomous administration and opened the house of the Syriac woman, which embraces the issues of women of various components and sects.

Due to their strong belief in women's capabilities and role in society, the Syriac Women's Union opened under the slogan "Dar Ishtarot" for the rights of women.

To learn more about the Syriac Women's House, ANHA agency had interviewed the official of the Syriac Women's Union, the Co-Chair of the General Council for autonomous administration of north and east Syria, Siham Qario, some members of the Women's House who affirmed their determination to work for women's legitimate rights.

Siham Qario said that the aim of the opening of the Women's House on March 8 was to mark International Women's Day, which aims at achieving women's rights in all aspects of life and their ability to stay in their homeland.

She pointed out that as a result of the war in Syria from several years, where the biggest victims were the women, they were exposed to all kinds of violence. "Because we believe in strengthening the capabilities of women and defending their rights and standing with women who have no one left, so we have allocated a reception room to solve their problems ".

Siham Qario explained that Ishtarot Women's House welcomes all women from all components and seeks to solve their problems and obtain all their legitimate rights.

At the end of her speech Siham Qario expressed their support for women in the Women's House where she said: "in the Syriac Women's Union, there is a Young Syriac Women's Committee. It has worked within the democratic autonomous administration because the biggest work is for the youth in the future. We are therefore working to create a cultural, educational and vocational academy for young women that will be opened soon
