Living in houses without windows, doors, no organization supports them

The resistance is not only embodied in the war, the people of Deir ez-Zor embody the resistance and steadfastness despite the difficult life they live in. Their suffering is compounded by the coming of winter and the harsh cold and no organization respond or support them

The people are living in houses its doors of resistance and steadfastness and live safely, away from the interventions and arrests of the Syrian regime and the practices of IS mercenaries , they had headed to the areas of Syrian Democratic Forces to provide security and safety.

As a result of the practices of the Syrian regime and IS mercenaries , many of the people of Deir ez-Zor came out of their homes for certain periods, but the Arab spring revolution overcame the people of Deir ez-Zor to taste the scourge of war. They lived for the winter's cold and the dust storms

Zulikha al-Attiyah, one of the displaced women from Deir ez-Zor, was displaced in the hope of returning after the situation calmed down in the city, but 8 years have based since her displacement to al-Raqqa then to al-Hasakah during the battles of al-Raqqa's liberation to return to al-Raqqa seeking safety.

"I live in this house, although its construction is not complete, and I am satisfied with what I am. The most important thing is that I live with my grandchildren with the safety that is available here in the city of Raqqa thanks to the Syrian Democratic Forces. We live in this housing without windows or doors, so I put the blankets on the doors to cover up and protect us from dust. "

"Winter is in doors and these children can not withstand the cold. No humanitarian organizations have provided us with oil or blanket s to cope the coming winter cold. Many of our organizations have visited us and promised us assistance but their promises have gone with the wind," she said.
