Artistic campaign continues offering artistic performances in 2nd day

The Culture and Art Body continues organizing the artistical activities to support Afrin’s liberation and the Autonomous Administration, the civil institutions in al-Shahba canton in addition to hundreds of the people who are residing in Serdem camp attended the activities.

The activity started with holding a minute of silence. Then, the administrator in the Culture and Art Movement in Afrin Romat Beko delivered a speech and said, “We aim through this campaign to send a massage to everybody that we will continue our work and we put Afrin’s liberation before us through our culture and songs. The culture expresses the identity of the society so we have to protect this culture.”

Then, the Heritage Band for the Kurdish folkloric dance in the Culture and Art Movement performed several Kurdish heritage dances.

After that, Rojava Band for singing offered a lyrical and theatrical performance about the bombardment that reached Afrin canton whose people and children were exposed to that bombardment by the mercenaries. Avrînerê Hêviyê Band performed a play about the weakness caused by the distinction and that the strength lies in the unification. Then, Agirî Band for singing offered a number of popular and revolutionary songs about the Resistance of the Age.

The event ended with holding al-Dabka dance with the songs.

Furthermore, the artistic campaign will continue in a number of the districts of al-Shahba canton.
