YPG: Twin operations resulted in death of soldier, mercenary

The media center of the People's Protection Units (YPG) confirmed that a soldier and a mercenary of the Turkish occupation were killed during twin operations carried out by their units in Afrin canton.

The Media Center of the People's Protection Units issued a statement on Thursday to the public opinion in which it revealed the results of twin operations carried out in Afrin city and Rajo area.

The statement said:

"In the second phase of the resistance of the age in Afrin canton, our forces carried out twin military operations targeted the Turkish soldiers and its mercenaries in the center of the city of Afrin and the villages of Rajo.

On 25 September, our forces carried out a sniper operation targeted the Turkish occupation soldiers in the center of the city of Afrin, and as a result of the operation a soldiers was killed named Ali Okar.

On 26 September, our forces ambushed the mercenaries of Ahrar al-Sharqiya on the road leading to Gawlia village belonging to Rajo district, where a mercenary was killed and his weapon seized. "
