For more than two years, the Turkish government has imposed strict isolation on the leader of the Kurdish Abdullah Ocalan in a move deemed contrary to all international covenants on human rights.

The harsh isolation imposed on Ocalan comes within the framework of Turkey's fear that the democratic projects implemented in North Syria, which are based on the ideas of Ocalan in the democratic nation and peoples' brotherhood, will enter the Turkish interior, where the Turkish government is known for its dictatorship and oppression of all peoples and the Kurdish people in particular.

Hawar news agency met with citizens from Afrin canton who had met with the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan during his stay in Syria, and the impact of Ocalan's vision on them.

"Today, there are millions of people who believe in democracy and freedom who follow the path of the leader Abdullah Ocalan. The international conspiracy that took place will not prevent them from continuing with struggle," they said.

Muhammad Naso Beko, a resident of Janders district, met with the leader in Aleppo, the Syrian city in 1994, explaining that his meeting with Ocalan had a great role in raising the pace of our struggle. He added, "the leader Ocalan held us a meeting on the history of the Kurds and Kurdistan, and the role of the colonial powers in the occupation of our homeland, and this meeting for me is a starting point of my struggle and practical in the service of the nation over dozens of years. "

Bako explained that the leader of the Kurdish people is struggling to achieve the idea of the peoples' brotherhood, "he never considered any people his enemy, but he opposed the authoritarian regimes because these regimes were the ones who occupied our lands."

Beko noted that the1999 international conspiracy against Ocalan was aimed at preventing Ocalan from continuing to spread his ideology, to keep peoples under authoritarian regimes, and to never allow people to think of revolting for their freedom and dignity. "But the leader made of Imrali prison a school to spread his ideology which millions of believers in freedom and democracy follow. "

Hasan Ahmed Hasan, a resident of Şêrawa district, met the leader Abdullah Ocalan in a village in Afrin canton in 1988 and explained how he met Ocalan. "I wanted to rest in a house when the leader was sitting there, he explained to us his objectives and the causes of his struggle, and from that day I began to struggle for the homeland to this day.

"We see today the leader in isolation and the Turkish state wants to make this isolation normal to forget the leader, but we know what Turkey wants through these actions, and we, in turn, will increase our struggle even until we can liberate the leader. "

Hasan pointed out that Turkey's actions contravene all international covenants of human rights. He pointed out that the silence of the international community is evidence of its participation in the conspiracy that affected the leader of the Kurdish People Abdullah Ocalan.

"North Syrian is witnessing a state of security and democracy because the ideology of peoples' brotherhood and co-existence is in it. This is what created a democratic society in those regions. The people are administrated through autonomous administration, and the isolation in which the leader lives is a denial of human rights," he said.
