The committee is supposed to consist of representatives from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France and the United States of America. To form a new constitution for Syria.

However, efforts to form the committee and drafting the constitution did not produce results in light of the absence reasons for the failure, while no call was made to the sons of the north of Syria to participate in the efforts to form a committee and the drafting of the constitution.

Living freely is the right of every Syrian

"We in FSP believe that it is necessary to create a new constitution in Syria. Syria has lived in 50 years with a constitution that works for a certain group.  Saleh said "the new constitution must preserve the rights of all components in Syria and the salvation of dictatorship. It should separate the authorities so as to determine the powers of both the president and the prime minister, guarantee freedoms and return the displaced."

He referred to the issue of detainees as a suspended file. He said, "the biggest and most important issue is the issue of detainees, their numbers are huge and the question is where are these people? Are they alive, or are they dead, their fate is unknown today?

"Freedom is a duty for every Syrian and not just a right. It is necessary to preserve freedoms. It is our duty as a Syrian people to live freely. It is not just a right but a duty."

Must be approved by the Syrians

He pointed out that the Syrian people must agree to the constitution and be under the auspices of the Security Council and international guarantees, "because some parties in Syria have foreign agendas may not accept this constitution, and may not be represented in the new constitution as the (terrorist) parties, must be there is a law that guarantees this constitution to be applied on the ground. "

He added: "In order not to fail this committee like its predecessors, there must be a seriousness among the sponsors of this committee. They should work for the benefit of the Syrian people, not for their agendas and interests, otherwise they will fail if they act under the dictates of countries with interests in Syria."

"There are indications that there is a political and international movement to solve the Syrian crisis, even the Syrian regime, we note the existence of acceptance, and these are real indications of the formation of a constitutional committee."

Condition for the success of the commission!

He stressed the success of the committee by stipulating representation of all factions of the Syrian people within the constitutional committee.
