"Battle to defeat terrorism" martyr Mohammed al-Khalaf buried

The inhabitants of the village of Abo Khashab and its villages in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor bid farewell the martyr Mohammed al-Khalaf, whose nom de guerre is Shams al-Muqatel in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces, he was martyred in the battle to defeat terrorism.

The mourners received the corpse of the martyr Shams at the entrance of the village "al-Makman" and launched by a solemn procession towards the shrine amidst slogans that glorify the martyrs.

The ceremony started with a minute of silence and then the military police fighters presented a military parade. Then the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces Abu Islam gave a speech in which he pledged the mothers of the martyrs and their comrades to avenge them and take their revenge until victory. He said "Today we are fighting in the battle to defeat terrorism, and it is the last phase to expel Daesh mercenaries, and we will prove to the whole world that we will liberate Hajin and its countryside from the grip of IS mercenaries, and this is a pledge we have achieved at the beginning of our campaign with our comrade martyrs and we will win with our will and our strong determination.

The members of the women's House in al-Jazrat Khadija al- Ali delivered a speech in which she said: "We condolence the families of the martyr who sacrificed his soul for our freedom and put his body as a bridge to the future and we pledge them to continue their struggle until victory."

Then the administrator of the martyrs' families' institution Wafa Jalal read the document and handed it over to his parents.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the mourners carried the corpse of the fighter "Mohammed al-Khalaf" on the shoulders to be buried amid the mummies of the mothers and slogans that glorify martyrs in the shrine of martyr Kheder al- Hamada in the village of Abo Khashab.
