YPG carries out twin qualitative operations in Afrin

The Media Center of the People's Protection Units issued on Thursday a written statement to the public, revealing the details and outcome of two qualitative operations carried out by the Protection Units against the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army in Afrin.

The text of the statement:

"In the framework of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin, our units carried out twin specific operations targeting the mercenaries of the Turkish state in each of the villages of Janders district and Shia.

On 19 September, our units carried out an operation against a military vehicle carrying a number of mercenaries on the road leading to the village of Ghazawiya in Janders district, where the vehicle was destroyed and two mercenaries were killed and three others were seriously injured. The names of the dead mercenaries were documented: Ibrahim al-Rabih from Hama and Ata al-Mousa from Hama.

On the same date, our fighters ambushed two of the mercenaries of the so-called al-Wakas Brigade on the road to the village of Hikja in Şêa district, where two mercenaries were killed and their Kalashnikov had been seized.
