More refugees flowing to Iwa, Deir ez-Zor Council undertaking services

In coincidence with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) advance, the number of refugees displacing from IS-held areas towards Iwa camp for refugees increases, the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council strives to provide the required aids in accordance with the limited possibilities they have.

The number of refugees displacing from the occupied areas by Daesh gangs towards areas held by the Syrian Democratic Forces is increasing as they escape the suppression and injustice of Daesh, most of the refugees are women, children, and the elderly.

The residents head towards Iwa camp which is located north of Hajin amid absolute absence of local and international organizations which is witnessing massive displacement movement.

Muhamad al-Jassim in charge of the camp assured that the number of refugees has increased since the last stage of al-Jazeera Tempest was launched where hundreds of people have left towards the camp which is situated in the northern part of the town.

Al-Jassim assured that the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council provides required services for the displaced according to the limited possibilities they have.

The camp is witnessing massive flowing due to displacement as the Syrian Democratic Forces advance in the eastern axis of Hajin, the last stronghold of Daesh in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
