Aids provided to people of Hajin who fled Daesh

Hajin area is witnessing fierce battles between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and IS mercenaries, and dozens of civilians are displaced daily from the grip of IS mercenaries, this prompted Deir ez-Zor Civil Council to open the camp "Iwa" to receive the displaced civilians.

The Civil Council of Deir ez-Zor in coordination with the Syrian Democratic Council provides the food, health and housing needs to the displaced. They distributed more than 100 tents to shelter the displaced people and put 15 drinking water tanks in the camp.

In addition, food and medical baskets, as well as children's clothing, were distributed to the people fleeing Daesh.

The Civil Council of Deir ez-Zor also distributes drinking water through the tanks to the residents of the villages of Theban and Garanij Sharki, which have been secured.

Mohammed al-Jasim, the administrator of Iwa camp said "The civil council works in coordination with the Syrian Democratic Council in providing food and medical assistance to the people who have fled the areas occupied by Daesh

"The number of the people who left Hajin town to Iwa camp is dramatically increasing. We have asked all humanitarian and international organizations in North Syria to provide all available assistance to support the displaced," he said.
