YPG carried out operations in Afrin

YPG’s media center released a statement to the public opinion on Thursday, revealing the outcome of the operations carried out by their forces within the second stage of the Resistance of the age.

The statement include,

“Within the second stage of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin area, our forces carried out a series of simultaneous operations in the center of Janders district, and the villages of Rajo, Mobata and Shera districts.

On September 12, our forces carried out an attack on a point of the Turkish soldiers and mercenaries in the center of Janders district as our forces clashed with the mercenaries face to face, and the operation resulted in wounding 6 mercenaries among them a Turkish soldier.

On the same date, our units carried out an operation against a military vehicle carrying a number of the mercenaries in Omara village in Mobata district as the vehicle has been destroyed and the killing of 2 mercenaries and wounding another one have been confirmed.

In coincidence with that, our forces ambushed a mercenary of Failaq al-Sham on the road leading to Berbeneh village in Rajo district. The mercenary was killed and a Kalashnikov was seized during the operation.

In Zeitonak village in Shera district, our forces carried out an attack against a military vehicle that was carrying a number of the mercenaries as the number of the killed and wounded in the operation has not been confirmed.
