PKK , PAJK detainees go on hunger strike to reject isolation on Ocalan

Thousands of Kurdistan workers party (PKK) and (PAJK) Kurdistan Women's Freedom Party prisoners in Turkish prisons on Wednesday (September 12th) began a hunger strike to demand the lifting of the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocelan and the release of sick prisoners.

On the start of the hunger strike, Political Detainee Deniz Kaya issued a statement last week on behalf of the Kurdistan workers party (PKK) and the Kurdistan Women's Freedom Party (PAJK) in which he announced that the detainees would start a hunger strike as of September 12, An intensive isolation has been  imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocelan by Turkish state  , they are demanding to release of detainees suffering from life-threatening chronic diseases.

Kaya explained that this campaign is a warning message, while the campaign began Wednesday morning with the participation of thousands of detainees.
