4th Regiment of MMC formed

MANBIJ

After receiving a training course at the Martyr Yekita Academy which lasted 45 days, where they received intellectual and military lessons, the Manbij Military Council formed its fourth regiment in Manbij which consisted of 225 fighters.

The graduating ceremony and the formation of the regiment were attended by commanders and fighters of MMC.

The ceremony was started by performing a military parade by the fighters. Then the commander of MMC, Ibrahim al-Bannawi spoke and congratulated the fighters which formed for all the people of Manbij and its fighters.

He noted "we carried this weapon and trained it to protect our people, the soil of our land and the rights of this people. We did not carry arms for war and destruction."

Al-Bannawi pointed out that they liberated Manbij by the sacrifices made by the sons of the homeland and promised to walk on the path of martyrs.

It is worth mentioning that the martyr Abu Jassem al-Begari was martyred during his participation in al-Raqqa liberation campaign.
