Launching vast operation against IS in al-Tabqa

The Legislative Council of al-Tabqa area has approved a proposal by the Internal Affairs Committee of the Democratic Civil Administration of al-Tabqa to impose a total curfew on al-Tabqa city and its countryside from the dawn of the day in preparation for a large-scale security operation aimed at dormant cells of IS mercenaries.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held interviwe with the Co-chair of the Legislative Council in al-Tabqa area Hamid al-Faraj said"After several meetings with clans' notables and sheikhs in the area have demanded from Democratic Civil Administration in al-Tabqa area to campaign to target the cells in the city which is working to destabilize security and stability in the area.

Al-Tabqa city has recently witnessed attacks by IS mercenaries targeted elements of the Internal Security Forces ISD and Syrian Democratic Forces SDF

And noted "After a discussion with the Interior Committee in the Executive Council on this request, the Committee submitted a proposal to launch a campaign to clean the city from the clutches of IS mercenaries and cells targeting the security and military system in al-Tabqa and its countryside under the orders of foreign agendas followed.

The Internal Security Forces launched a campaign against Daesh in Raqqa about two months ago, which resulted in the arrest of dozens of mercenaries and the seizure of large quantities of weapons and ammunition.

Al-Faraj said in a message to al-Tabqa people saying "We assure the people that the aim of this campaign is to support stability and security in the region and to rebuild this country and reach our lofty goals. And call on the people to cooperate with the military forces and to comply fully with all instructions and warnings in order to ensure their safety and to preserve their lives.

Interior Committee in al-Tabqa city : we will target the hideouts of terrorists and invite the people to cooperate .

In this regard, the Co-chair of the internal committee of the Democratic Civil Administration in al-Tabqa city Mazloum Omar confirmed that "we in the Interior Committee have taken a decision to carry out a security campaign on the points that have been identified by the competent security services after the proposal was submitted to the Legislative Council and approved it ."

On Friday morning , the Legislative Council in al-Tabqa area approved a proposal by the Interior Committee to impose a full curfew and launch a security operation against Daesh cells

Omar added"After the approval of the Legislative Council, coordination with the security services and military forces to issue a number of resolutions, including a curfew on all al-Tabqa city 's neighborhoods on 7 September and allow the parents to going for two hours beginning at 10 am to secure all their needs and requirements."

"The security forces and Syrian Democratic Forces SDF in all their formations will carry out several raids on the terrorists' places , who are working to target and destabilize the region through several cowardly and cowardly acts," the Co-chair of the internal committee said.

It is noteworthy that the Interior Committee issued a circular of 3 days, circulating the first, providing for the closure of all shops at 10 pm and the second provides for a curfew on motorcycles daily from 8 pm to 6 am in order to protect the public safety of citizens and to avoid any emergency may occur.
