Tens of mercenaries fled with their families from Afrin

A source familiar with the matter from inside Janders area of Afrin canton, which borders the Turkish border, dozens of mercenaries gathered with their families " the number exceeded 50 individuals" this morning near Kinj home in the village of Aghjila of Janders, In preparation to head towards Turkish territory.

The source confirmed that the mercenaries crossed the Turkish territory illegally today, fleeing the territory of the canton, after a series of special operations carried out by the People's Protection and Women's Protection Unit and the Wrath of the Olives operation room against the elements and commanders of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries within the territory of the canton.

The special operations carried out by the People's and Women's Protection Units and the Wrath of Olives operation room, documented in video since the occupation of Afrin land on March18, have caused panic among the ranks of mercenaries and their commanders, leading to the escape of hundreds of settlers and mercenaries from Afrin.

After the occupation of Afrin, the People and Women's Protection Units announced on March 18 that the resistance of The Age entered its 2nd  stage and warned the mercenaries, the Turkish occupation army and the settlers to stay in Afrin and considered them legitimate targets for their forces.

Before the Turkish invasion, Afrin canton was considered one of the safest areas in Syria and a safe haven for hundreds of thousands of people fleeing the conflict in various Syrian regions.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that mercenaries and their families have fled Afrin. We have already published in our agency information from local sources from inside Afrin that mercenaries are trying by various means to get out of Afrin and go to Turkey.
