Al-Sewsan Medical Association receives 190 cases every day

Al-Sewsan Medical Association related to the Health Committee of al-Raqqa Civil Council in al-Karama town in the eastern countryside of al-Raqqa treats 190 patients every day and provides them with treatment and medicine free of charge.

Al-Sewsan Medical Association was opened in July 3 with the aim of providing treatment and medicine to the people in the eastern countryside.

The association is consisted of nursing, children, inpatients and women clinics in addition to an analytical laboratory and a pharmacy. Each department has a specialized medical staff.

The Association receives 190 patients every day and provides medicine and treatment to the people.

The Administrator in the Association Ibrahim Hamed al-Mehbash said, "The patients are examined by specialists as whoever need analyses are referred by the doctor to the laboratory and then the necessary treatment is provided to them free of charge."

In addition, there is a mobile medical clinic equipped with a medical staff and a pharmacy that conducts daily tours in a village within the eastern countryside.

The opening of the Association was a result of the shortage of dispensaries and medical hospitals in al-Raqqa eastern countryside.
