About 30 to 80 corpses have been uncovered within the yard of the mosque, the number of corpses found by the Initial Response Team reached 30 and were handed over to their families, where the forensic doctor inspects and documents the corpse, then writes the name of the deceased and the date of delivery.

About 2,050 corpses have been recovered in al-Raqqa city since liberation some of them were recognized by its people, and which have not yet been identified. They were buried in Sharia ways in the cemetery of Tel al -Bayah.

Fares Mohammed, a resident of al-Raqqa city explained that they buried his brother inside the mosque while IS entered to the city of al-Raqqa and besieged the Brigade 17th. They could not reach the cemetery of Tel- al-Bayha due to battles between the regime and IS.

Fares added, "We asked the Initial Response Team to help us to recover the corpses from within of the mosque and transfer it to the cemetery of Tel al- Bayah.

It should be noted that mercenaries had perpetrated dozens of massacres against the al-Raqqa city's people and buried them in mass graves in different cities in an attempt to hide their massacres.
