Hikmat Habib: Key of resolving Syrian crisis lies in Syrian hands

The statement was made by a member of the Executive Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council Hikmat Habib during a speech on a foot march in Girê Spî city on Tuesday to denounce the Turkish occupation of Syrian territory with the participation of youth in all parts of North Syria.

"We in the Syrian Democratic Council continue to seek to build a decentralized Syria in which all rights and duties are equal, the conferences that were held to resolve the Syrian crisis, such as Astana, Geneva and Sochi, increased the Syrian crisis and offered no solution to the Syrian people," he said.

He pointed out that the Turkish government had opened its borders at a distance of 900 kilometers, and supported the terrorists in all the parts of the world.

He explained that the Turkish government after losing its tools in North Syria and Daesh had been defeated in the so-called capital" al-Raqqa", rushed to occupy precious parts of the Syrian territory, such as Jarablus, al-Bab and Afrin recently, which showed the ill intentions towards the Syrian people.

Habib stressed that with the determination of the young people in Syria and their strength and the indomitable will of the people, every inch of this land will be liberated and the fascist Erdogan will be deterred from his designs in North Syria by occupying its territory.

Hundreds of young people in North Syria met in Girê Spî city and demonstrated against the Turkish occupation of the Syrian territories, declaring their total rejection of the Turkish presence on Syrian territory and confirming their work to liberate it.

He added that Syrian Democratic Forces liberated more than a quarter of the geographical area of ​​Syria from terrorism, and that the Syrian Democratic Council worked to manage the liberated areas through democratic autonomous and civil administrations that gave rights to all components.

"Hand in hand, we are still proceeding with the youth to build the future Syria, and the youth must arm themselves with awareness, unity of all its components, and the Syrian identity should be above all, because the experience has been proven for decades," said Hikmat Habib."
